Book Sale Breakfast
On April 17, 2010, from 9:00 to 12 noon, the Friends of the Library will be selling coffee and pastries at the semi-annual Book Sale at the Media Community Center on 4th Street between Jackson and Monroe Streets. Come volunteer at the food table or enjoy a bite while you browse for books!

The Friends handed out free red, white and blue water ice in honor of the Bastille Day theme as part of the Media Arts Council 2nd Saturday Arts Stroll on July 11. Crowds stopped by the library to listen to a live barbershop quartet and sample the water ice on a lovely summer evening.
